Muarip thanks Dabawenyos as he bids farewell to Davao City

Davao City Police Office (DCPO) acting City Director Colonel Mannan Muarip extends his gratitude to Dabawenyos including its stakeholders who stood hand in hand with the DCPO throughout his eight months of service.

Muarip said in a report said that every milestone achieved under his leadership was not the work of one office alone, but a testament to the collective strength, trust, and unity of the Davaoeños—from barangay officials and local government units to partner agencies, the private sector, and community organizations.

Anchored on the D.A.V.A.O. framework—Discipline, Action, Virtue, Accountability, and Order, Muarip underscored that these guiding principles came to life through the active participation and shared responsibility of the community.

He stressed that true peace and order is not imposed—it is built through cooperation, mutual respect, and a common vision of a safe and progressive city.

The DCPO successfully advanced its initiatives in:

• Strengthening peace and order

• Enhancing police-community relations

• Promoting public safety and responsiveness

These gains were made possible because of the confidence and support of the people, which continuously inspired the organization to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and accountability.

Muarip also expressed deep appreciation to the men and women of the DCPO, recognizing their dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the mission of safeguarding Davao City. He acknowledged that their service, often beyond the call of duty, reflects the true spirit of public service.

“To the people of Davao City, thank you for your trust and for becoming our partners in building a safer community. The success of the D.A.V.A.O. framework is your success. Together, we have proven that when discipline is practiced, action is taken, virtue is upheld, accountability is embraced, and order is maintained—peace becomes sustainable, " he said.

He said," Col. Mannan Muarip now signing off.. Shukran. "
