Cong. Pulong's Office Turns Over Ambulance to Brgy. Talomo

DAVAO CITY — The Office of First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte turned over a new ambulance to Barangay Talomo on Friday as part of its continuing program to strengthen emergency and health response services in Davao City’s first district.

2nd District Congressman Omar Vincent Duterte personally represented his father, Cong. Pulong, during the turnover ceremony.

Alongside the donation of the ambulance, a Liga ng mga Barangay service vehicle was also handed over to be used for the “Libreng Sakay” program for students in the barangay.

Talomo Barangay Captain Atty. Alexis Villarente expressed his gratitude to the Dutertes for their consistent support to local initiatives that directly benefit residents.

“Dako kaayong tabang ni sa among barangay. Ang ambulance makatabang sa paspas nga pagresponde sa mga emerhensya, ug ang libreng sakay makahatag ug dakong ginhawa sa among mga estudyante nga naglisod sa pamasahe,” Villarente said.

The donation forms part of the ongoing effort of the Duterte congressional office to equip barangays in the first district with functional ambulances and community vehicles.

To date, around 20 ambulances have already been turned over to various barangays in Davao City.

According to Cong. Omar Duterte, the initiative reflects their family’s continuing commitment to deliver public service programs that respond to the immediate and practical needs of Dabawenyos.
