Panares, a standout player from the Intangibles Football Club in Davao City, impressed scouts during the recent tryouts conducted by Adamson University held in the city. His skill, discipline, and potential caught the attention of the university’s football program, leading to the coveted scholarship offer.
He now joins the ranks of fellow Davaoeño footballers Kian Niu and Jerby Anito from Barangay Cabantian, who are currently playing for the FEU Tamaraws in the same UAAP tournament.
Panares' success marks another milestone for Davao City's grassroots football development and serves as an inspiration for young local athletes aspiring to reach the big leagues.
With this new chapter, Panares is set to represent his hometown with pride and determination on one of the country's biggest sporting platforms.
