The OVP, in partnership with Uycinco City Tours Inc., held a ceremonial prayer and blessing for the bus on Monday morning.
The OVP’s Libreng Sakay Program aims to provide free rides to help the commuting public, and support existing public and private transport systems.
Launched on August 3, 2022, there are already 9 OVP Libreng Sakay buses serving through Metro Manila, Naic-Cavite, Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, and Tacloban.
According to the OVP’s Special Projects Division, the program has already served a total of 2,347,369 commuters nationwide.
