Sen. Bong Go rallies support for Duterte-allied candidates during Davao sortie and motorcade from Panabo City to Davao City

On May 9, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go joined thousands of supporters in the cities of Panabo and Davao for a back-to-back motorcade, urging continued support for the DuterTEN senatorial slate and reaffirming his enduring gratitude to Davao which he considers home.

The motorcade with fellow DuterTEN candidates started in Panabo City heading towards Davao City, where the day culminated in a grand rally hosted by City Mayor Sebastian Duterte.

As a long-time aide to former President Rodrigo Duterte, Go emphasized the importance of staying loyal to the values instilled in him—service, humility, and a deep regard for ordinary Filipinos. He also expressed his gratitude to the Duterte family for the opportunity to serve, and to the people of Davao for their unwavering trust.

“Kung papalarin at muling pagkatiwalaan, hinding-hindi ko sasayangin ang oras ko bilang senador. Sipag, malasakit, at more serbisyo pa po ang maiaalay ko,” he said.

“Kahit na malungkot tayo ngayon dahil sa nangyayari sa ating Tatay Digong, palagi kong tinatandaan ang payo niya sa akin: Just do what is right. Unahin ang interes ng bayan. Unahin ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino lalo na ang mga mahihirap, at hinding hindi ka magkakamali,” he shared.

Before heading to Davao City, Go made a brief stop for lunch at Sabaw Sabaw Lang, a popular eatery in Panabo City where he encouraged Filipinos to support small enterprises to help the local economy. Aside from health, Go emphasized that he will also prioritize promoting job creation and food security.

As Chairperson of the Senate Committees on Youth and on Sports, Go took the opportunity to encourage young people to stay active and healthy. “Mga kabataan, mag-sports po kayo! Makakabuti sa kalusugan at makakaiwas pa sa bisyo,” he reminded.

Go appealed to fellow Davaoeños to support and vote for all ten candidates in the DuterTEN senatorial slate:

● 10 Bondoc, Jimmy

● 22 Dela Rosa, Bato

● 28 Go, Bong Go

● 30 Hinlo, Jayvee

● 34 Lambino, Raul

● 38 Marcoleta, Rodante

● 42 Mata, Doc Marites

● 53 Quiboloy, Apollo

● 56 Rodriguez, Atty. Vic

● 58 Salvador, Phillip Ipe

He also rallied support for Duterte-aligned local candidates in Davao City. “Suportahan rin po natin ang ating local candidates ng Davao City headed by former President Rodrigo Duterte for mayor and Mayor Baste Duterte for vice mayor.”

As the campaign draws to a close, Go remains focused on service—grounded in the lessons of his roots and powered by the people who continue to stand with him.

“Hinding-hindi ko po sasayangin yung pagkakataong ibinigay nyo po sa akin. Magtatrabaho po ako para sa Pilipino. At iyan po ang pwede kong i-alay sa inyo, ang aking bisyo sa pagseserbisyo,” said Go who is known as Mr. Malasakit for his compassionate service to Filipinos in need.
