The incident took place at around 9 a.m. when personnel of BDO Network Bank composed of a teller, security guard Dhonald James Pamarisan, and a driver were getting money from Mabuhay LCL Commercial situated at Purok 4, Poblacion, Compostela.
However, upon exit of said establishment, two unidentified suspects suddenly appeared and declared hold-up and shot the security guard, hitting him on different parts of his body that resulted in his untimely death.
The suspects took away one black dapple bag containing P 3, 672, 270.00 and the issued shotgun of the security guard and immediately fled going in an unknown direction.
BDO Network Bank in its statement said they are cooperating with the authorities for full investigation of the robbery incident.
“We are sad to report that security guard, Mr. Dhonald James Pamisaran Crusio was killed during the robbery incident.,” the statement read.
The bank said they will provide the necessary support to the family during this difficult time.
Davao de Oro governor Dorothy Gonzaga, meanwhile condemned the incident and vowed to give a reward to those who can provide information on the whereabouts of the suspects, which will lead to the solution of the case.
