Saljane Pinote Alquizalas, who was one year and three months old, was the victim.
Her mother, Jenivie, found her body at 4:00 p.m.
According to Staff Sergeant Erwin Ve Alvizo's inquiry at the Barili Police Station, the victim was given to her 10-year-old brother to watch over while their mother went out to gather their goats.

The toddler died when Jenevie transported her to the Barili District Hospital.
According to Staff Sergeant Jeffrey Alpas of the Barili Police Station, there was no foul play in Saljane's death.
