New Bataan, Davao de Oro forward/center Jeo Ambohot is one of players of the Misamis Oriental Misor KuyaMis for the second conference of VisMin Super Cup.
Ambohot, recently played for Pasig Sta. Lucia Realtors in the semi-professional basketball league Filbasket.
The 6'7 Ambohot is a member of the defending NCAA college basketball champion Letran University Knights and a former player of Agro-Industrial Foundation College here.
Also playing in the league is Phapart Mandreza, a native of Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) is set to see action for Roxas Vanguards.
Mandreza previosly played for the team of Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte in the same league.
In an earlier interview, Mandreza, a former player of St. John Paul College of Davao Saints is happy to get the chance to play professionally again after being away from basketball due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before the pandemic, Mandreza, an athletic forward also played in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League for the Mindoro Tamaraws.
Mandreza is a former teammate of Davaoenos Michael Canete of Leon Garcia, Agdao here who now plays for the Meralco Bolts in the PBA, and Darryl Bayla, who is the newest member of MPBL champion Davao Occidental Tigers.
Mandreza's teammate in the Vanguards Levi dela Cruz II is a Davaoeno point guard.
Dela Cruz previously played for Arellano Univesity Chiefs in the NCAA college basketball wars.
Mario Bonleon, a member of the Davaoeno basketball clan Bonleon will also be playing for the Vanguards.
Lastly, Davaoeno scorer Gab Dagangon will be playing for Basilan BRT Peace Riders in the same league.
Dagangon, a former scorer from Perpetual Health University in the NCAA previously played for Davao Occidental Tigers in the Filbasket tournament. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
