Tibungco Dancesport Team invited to join Cebu training

DAVAO CITY—The dream of the Tibungco Dancesport Team to be more efficient and skillful in their craft just got a much-needed boost.

The team has now landed in Cebu City after being invited for training by foreign coaches.

TDT coach Jeah Canoy told Newsforth that they were delighted with the invite since it is a massive help to the team.

"Yes dako kaau na tabang po, maka enhance gyud ni sa ilaha skills po," Yonac said.

The much-needed training came as TDT won two medals on April 24 in the 2nd Annual Diamond Online Competition.

John Nino Custodio won the top prize and gold medal in the Youth D Male Standard category.

Adrianne Labial won second place or silver in the Youth D Female Standard. 

On March 26 and 27, TDT also won two medals in the 2nd Online Manila Open Dancesport Championship.

Bhenz Rudolf Owen Semilla and Francheska Dezzly Darvin won the silver medal in the Junior C Standard.

Oliver Andrei Tangara and Apple V. Quiamco won the bronze medal in the Grade B Standard.

TDT thanked their coaches, Julie Flintham and Jeah Canoy, for the training and inspiration in a Facebook post.
