In its survey recent result, vice presidential candidate Mayor Sara Z. Duterte is the frontrunner with 89.3 percent from 1,594 respondents in the three congressional districts in the city. Duterte was followed by current Senate President Vicente Sotto III with 1.1 percent, and Dr. Willie Ong with 0.4 percent. While there were 0.3 percent of people who refused to answer, Walden Bello tied with Senator Kiko Pangilinan with 0.2 percent.
Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte got the top post for the mayoralty bid with 86 percent of the 1,464 respondents. Former third district congressman Ruy Elias Lopez got 3.9 percent, Joseph Elizalde, 0.14 percent, and Teddy Mantilla 0.07 percent.
Incumbent first district congressman Paolo Duterte also got the lead for his re-election bid garnering 82.93 percent from 498 respondents. Duterte was followed by Mags Maglana with 2.21 percent, Jamal Kanan 0.20 percent while 12.65 percent of the respondents cannot decide to choose among the four candidates.
Meanwhile, former Senator Bong Bong Marcos also topped the said survey garnering 79.8 percent out of 1,594 respondents followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 2.1 percent, Senator Manny Pacquiao 1.6 percent, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno 0.9 percent and Senator Ping Lacsoon 0.8 percent.
For the senatorial race, actor Robin Padilla got the highest percentage with 40.6 from 1,594 respondents. He is followed by former Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar with 40.5 percent, Alan Peter Cayetano 36.5, Raffy Tulfo 33.3, Harry Roque 32.1, Loren Legarda 31.5, Migz Zubiri 31.2, Jinggoy Estrada 28.7, JV Ejercito 25.8 percent, Chiz Escudero 25.1, Gibo Teodoro 21.5 and Win Gatchalian 20.5.
The survey was conducted last April 2 to 18 in the three districts in the city which aimed also to get perception as well as behavior of voters in choosing the next leaders in the country.
