Davaoeno rider wins championship trophy in T'Boli, South Cotabato

DAVAO CITY – The top motocross rider in the Philippines for 2019 who hails from this city won one championship trophy in Mafoco Motocross Competition 22 in T'boli, South Cotabato on March 5-6.

Davaeoño Bornok Mangosong won the Pro Open and expert category of the competition participated by some of the top motocross riders in the Philippines.

Mangosong is having a winning streak lately as he won two trophies in the 1st! BBM SARAH INVITATIONAL MOTOCROSS 2022 in Valladolid, Negros Occidental last February 25.

He won the Open Production and Professional Open categories in motocross.

On January 22-24, Mangosong also won one championship trophy in the 14th Bangsi Festival Motorenduro 2022 in Maitum, Sarangani Province.

Mangosong won the Power Enduro division of the motocross event also participated in by some of the top motocross riders in the Philippines.

Mangosong won P100,000 as a prize in the race.

On January 12, Mangosong also won the Matyakap Pro Motorcross Championship Elite Division in Gen. Salipada K. Pendatun Municipality Maguindanao.

Mangosong won the elite division of the motocross event.

On December 7, Mangosong also won the Invitation Motocross Championship in Manorigao, Caraga, Davao Oriental. 

Mangosong won the expert division of the motocross event.

On November 21, Mangosong also won the 2021 Davsons  Motocross Championship Pro Category Round 2 in Taysan, Batangas.

Mangosong won the pro category round of the motocross event participated in by some of the top motocross riders in the Philippines.

On July 18, Mangosong also won the pro category of the same tournament.

The National Motorcycle Sports Safety Association (NAMSSA) named Mangosong earlier as the top rider in the country for 2019.

In the eight rounds of MX 2 races sanctioned by NAMSSA, the 28-year-old motocross rider from this city got six wins.

In MX 1 races, Mangosong got three wins to get the coveted rider of the year honor.

From November 22 to 24 in 2019, Mangosong also made the city and the Philippines proud after he secured a fourth-place finish in the FIM Asia Supercross Championship held at the Speedworld MX Circuit in Bicutan, Taguig. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
