Davao City opens 4 more pediatric vaccination sites

The Davao City Government has opened Monday (Feb.28) four additional special district vaccination sites for the ongoing anti-Covid pediatric vaccination, the City Information Office (CIO) said.

The special district vaccination sites include F. Dizon Elementary School, SM Ecoland, GMall Toril, and Holy Cross of Calinan College.

These vaccination sites will cater to eligible children 5 to 11 years old for the anti-Covid vaccination and have been spruced up as child-friendly vax hubs.

Parents are encouraged to bring a copy of the Philippine Statistics Authority-issued birth certificate or a valid student ID of the child, a valid ID of the parent or guardian, the DQR of the child, and writing pen.

Meanwhile, the city is also eyeing to open additional vaccination sites to cater more children 5 to 11 years old should the third tranche of the anti-Covid vaccines arrive.

City’s anti-Covid Task Force spokesperson Dr. Michelle Schlosser earlier said that there are enough vaccines for the pediatric drive in the city.

The city had initially opened on February 21 three special sites for pediatric vaccination in Almendras Gym, San Roque Central Elementary School, and Vicente Hizon Elementary School.
