The main target of the operation, and the alleged drug den maintainer identified as alias Michael, 50 years old, and a resident of the said place was arrested after selling one sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, weighing approximately one (1) gram to a PDEA undercover agent posing as buyer.
Also arrested were alias Ferdinand, a suspected drug den employee, and alias Leandro, a suspected drug den visitor, and incumbent Barangay Kagawad of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Seized were nine pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately nineteen grams, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked buy-bust money.
Cases for violations of Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
