A lady rider who was arrested Sunday morning (Aug, 11) after she disrupted the Ironman 70.3 bike course will be facing multiple charges, according to the spokesman of Davao City Police Office (DCPO), Captain Hazel Tuazon.

Tuazon said DCPO chief Colonel Hansel Marantan has already directed the chief of police in Toril to file appropriate charges against the lady rider who disregarded authorities while they were providing security for the Ironman 70.3 event.

The lady rider whom the police identified as Krizelle Cabo, 28, was driving a motorcycle against the traffic flow while vlogging has put her life at risk and the safety of the participants. Fortunately, no participants were harmed during the incident.

Tuazon said Cabo will be charged for violating Article 151 of the revised penal code or the resistance and disobedience to a person in authority or the agents of such a person. She will also be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 4136 or land transportation and traffic code and Republic Act 10054 or the Motorcycle Helmet Law.
